We are planning a family vacation with our oldest daughter for a week in July. Matthew is registered to attend camp that week, and we need nursing care to cover Marie while we are gone. We really need some respite time as a couple and family. WE love our kids, but their care can be very draining, and we need some down time. Our daugher is getting married in August, and we would like to be able to give her our undivided attention for that weekend as well.

Welcome to CAPChildren Are Precious (CAP) is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to offer financial support for respite services to families of children with special needs. Respite services will be provided for children ranging in age from birth to 26 years old. CAP will provide funds to support nursing care for one to three days. Longer periods of time will be determined on an individual basis. This allows the family to be relieved of the financial, emotional, and physical burdens of care. The nursing care can be provided by willing hospitals in the area or through nurses or other health care agencies. CAP will not provide direct medical care, advice or make recommendations for such care.
